Sunday Lunch – A Local Twist on a British Classic
Whether you’re a guest at the hotel or just passing by, everyone is welcome to enjoy our Sunday roast.
We proudly source local ingredients, with meats from Owen Taylor butchers and drinks from Lenton Lane Brewery and Ruddy Fine Gin. Starters include favourites like black pudding scotch egg, onion soup, and a fresh Caprese salad.
Choose from slow-cooked pork belly with crackling, topside of beef, chicken supreme or a vegan mushroom and truffle suet pudding. All roasts come with classic trimmings – roast potatoes, mash, Yorkshire pudding, stuffing, seasonal veg and unlimited gravy. Add extras like cauliflower cheese or pigs in blankets with truffle honey.
Finish with something sweet – our signature Nottingham Pudding. Based on a 200-year-old recipe, this local favourite features Bramley apples baked in a soft batter, topped with custard, caramel, and cinnamon. It’s a nostalgic tribute to our local roots. Or enjoy a regional cheeseboard featuring Stilton, Red Leicester, and Lincolnshire Poacher. Parking available on-site.
